I love hearing my daughter recount the antics of her boys. Mostly because it reminds me that I took some childhood disruptions way too hard.
Yes, we do have to correct but often times we can laugh in our spirit as we correct. I wonder if that is what God does with us. Does he patiently watch as we walk into that wall, knowing that the brick prints on our heads will teach us to stop next time before the blood runs down our foreheads? I feel fairly certain that he doesn't let us ruin His day.He doesn't get stressed out. He doesn't fear parental failure.
What a lot we can learn.
